STUDENTS heading for the University of Huddersfield will pay £7,950 a year. University officials have confirmed the figure they propose to charge for tuition fees. They are one of only a handful so far not to opt to charge the full £9,000 a year fees that some students face.

“It’s only £3k more for the course and in the context of the size of the debt run up is nothing. Don’t believe that facts and truth will bring the students in.”

“It’s just over a decade since I graduated and I haven’t re-paid a single penny and have no intentions of ever doing so.”

“Stop leading students up the garden path with the myth that you will gain better employment with a degree.
“£30k debts before you’ve even thought of buying a house!’’
