But recently Enterprise Inns, which leases the pub to them, has dramatically increased the cost of rent, barrels and insurance. The couple say it makes it difficult for them to survive – unless they charge punters almost £4 a pint.

But despite the efforts of paramedics and doctors he died, on August 5, from a previously undiagnosed heart problem.
