Scouts from Greetland displayed a Wild West theme on a float in the Elland Carnival parade in August 1999.
The parade, featuring more than 30 classic cars, floats and fancy dress competitors, assembled at Westgate before progressing to the premises of firefighting equipment firm Nu-Swift, where the carnival was held.
Mayor of Calderdale Clr Peter Coles opened the event, which included a baby show, gymnastics, Irish and line dancing and music from the Anchormen Drum and Bugle Corps.
