ENGLAND cricket captain Alastair Cook might have been struck by the unexpected pressures that come with his new post.

Not only do you have to find ways to inspire your squad to a series success after a faltering start, and get the best out of players who have their own personal challenges, but you also have to think about whether to grow an extra arm.

After leading from the front to record England’s first Test series success in 28 years in India, at the very end of it all Cook suddenly found he was in need of support from others.

Having stepped up to collect the trophies for England’s Test series success, Cook was all set to depart for the celebrations when master of ceremonies – Indian legend Ravi Shastri – added: ‘Oh Alastair, don’t forget your man of the series award!’

It can be pretty hard to hold trophies aloft when you are trying to juggle three of them.

Here’s hoping we get to see captain Cook’s juggling act as often as possible over the next decade.
