BEAUTIFUL women models have apparently started a fashion trend for girls to wear moustaches.

Christy Turlington has one on the cover of May’s edition of Tatler.

Young females out on hen nights are now adorning their upper lips. The sophisticated model effect can be achieved by drawing on a pencil moustache of a style once popular with gigolos.

An alternative for those with less self-confidence is a Tache on a Stick which is, exactly as it says, stuck on a stick and not on your face. This has the advantage of being placed beneath the nose for a laugh and discarded when a young lady has pulled.

More intrepid girls might choose proper false moustaches they stick to their face with adhesive and which come in many styles from Wing Commander to hippy.

Chaps who make passes at girls in moustaches should, of course, never attempt a compliment.

“I like your moustache,” might just provoke a slap in the face if the young lady is not wearing one.
