SELLING primarily women’s and children’s fashions, the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice has opened a new charity shop in Golcar.

It is the charity’s 11th shop in the region. Managed by David Brook, who began as a hospice volunteer, it will also sell a selected range of household goods.

“The aim is to make the shop look like an independent retailer rather than a charity shop,’’ said David, who latterly worked in the charity’s Hebden Bridge store.

The new shop was launched last week and is on Swallow Lane.
