I WAS amused that in a radio debate about welfare cuts, Works and Pensions Secretary Iain Duncan Smith said he could live on £53 a week.
This equates to £7.57p a day.
Perhaps this could be put into law so that, in future, MPs can claim no more than £7.57p a day subsistence expenses?
Sounds fair to me.
