The Rainbow Guide Unit from Golcar Church have added their current contribution of current issue, old and foreign stamps to the appeal. The girls have collected together the stamps and brought them into the Examiner office in Ramsden Street, Huddersfield. Former world coal carrying champion Mr Terry Lyons, of Meltham, opened the event and judged decorated vehicles with carnival queen Mrs Susan Ferguson.
