This week's All Our Yesterdays gallery goes back 28 years to 1987!

It was the year Margaret Thatcher was re-elected to Number 10 and began her third term in office, Timothy Dalton played James Bond and Rick Astley's Never Gonna Give You Up hit the charts!

We've gone back into the Examiner archives to see what was happening in Huddersfield in 1987 — you may spot someone you recognise!

Fundraising for the Examiner's £500,000 Bodyscanner Appeal was in full swing, 700 paperboys and girls who delivered the Examiner in Huddersfield enjoyed a trip to Blackpool, and Kirkburton Middle School performed a 'moving musical' on the back of a lorry!

Take a look through our gallery for a nostalgic look at life 28 years ago.
