GARY LINEKER seems to have copped a big earful off a number of people because of his ‘back to the Dark Ages’ comment after England’s performance against the Republic of Ireland at Wembley last week.
Much of the backlash seems to be based around a discussion of the tactics employed by current England manager Roy Hodgson.
My reason for disagreeing with Mr Lineker (right) is based more on the use of the word ‘back’ – when did we actually leave the Dark Ages?
