THIS snowman must have one of the best views in Huddersfield.

It was built by Maz Bradley and her husband John in their garden at Nettleton Hill overlooking Golcar and beyond.

They built it for their 11-year-old granddaughter Annabella Hart who lives in Golcar and also sent a photograph of it to their three-year-old great granddaughter, Maya Parr.

And the photo captures the topsy turvy weather week we’ve had this week as it has veered from icy sleet and snow to bright sunshine.

There have also been some phenomenally clear days that have meant people living in Huddersfield’s higher spots could see for miles and miles.

We always need submissions for Picture Of The Week.

If your eye has been caught by a sunny face, a community event or a wonderful building, then send in those images too.

We are always keen to celebrate the town’s achievements, its spirit and its people.

So please get out the camera and share your view of what makes Huddersfield so special.

Send entries to features@examiner.co.uk or you can drop them in the post to Picture of the Week, Features, Huddersfield Daily Examiner, Pennine Business Park, Longbow Close, Bradley Road, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, HD2 1GQ.
