IT’S great to have some faces on a PIcture Of The Week.

Usually readers send us fabulous shots of the amazing landscapes around Huddersfield but here you have the best of both worlds, with these walkers taking a rest and capturing a digital memory of a bridge at Dovestone Reservoir at Greenfield.

All are members of the Beaumont Park Walkers, who step out every Wednesday.

The walkers meet by the main gate at 10.30am and return to the visitor centre where they tuck into lunch of soup and sandwiches afterwards.

They ‘walk away’ on the second Wednesday in the month and this recent excursion took them to the Dovestone Reservoir where they seen admiring the views.

To see what they’re up to next – along with information about all the events going on in the park – check out www.fobp.co.uk for further details.

We always need submissions for Picture Of The Week.

If your eye has been caught by a sunny face, a community event or a beautiful building, then send in those images too.

We are always keen to celebrate the town’s achievements, its spirit and its people.

So please get out the camera and share your view of what makes Huddersfield so special.

Send entries to features@examiner.co.uk or you can drop them in the post to Picture of the Week, Features, Huddersfield Daily Examiner, Pennine Business Park, Longbow Close, Bradley Road, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, HD2 1GQ.
