THIS foreboding image of a stormy day above Marsden captures the full power of the menacing clouds.
It’s an infrared shot which means only the infrared light is let through while the ultraviolet spectrum is blocked.
The picture was taken by mum-of-two Caitlin Sagan who this week started a digital photography course at the Open University.
She lives in Marsden, is married to Stan and the couple have two children, eight-year-old Jakob and three-year-old Zosia.
Caitlin said: “I understand that this is the only online digital photography course in the country and I’m really looking forward to doing it.
“Being chosen for the Picture of the Week in the Examiner couldn’t have come at a better time.
“I’ve been really interested in photography for about a year and at the moment I’m taking lots of infrared shots as they give the photographs a strange, spooky feeling.’’
