IT takes a brave soul to leap off Buckstones Edge to go paragliding.

This pilot was captured high above the moors by Examiner reader Mark Hemingway who lives in Lindley.

Buckstones Edge has stunning views across the moors to Marsden and is a favourite haunt for hang-gliders and paragliders.

Modern paragliders were directly developed from parachutes used by people jumping from steep hills in the late 1980s.
