THE year is 1988 and youngsters across Huddersfield were in the news for all kinds of reasons from school to sport to music.
Here pupils at Paddock Junior, Infant and Nursery School made decorative Diwa lamps to celebrate the Hindu and Sikh Diwali Festival of Light in November that year.
