A new 8th bell is hoisted into the belfry at St. Mary Redcliffe in Bristol, to replace the old number 8, which was cast in 1763 and suffering from a faulty tone. The new 8th was cast in Loughborough by John Taylor and Co church bell founders and is a 15-2-6 F#, weighing in at three quarters of a ton (790 Kilos).
