A CROSLAND Moor man has appeared in court accused of assaulting his ex girlfriend.

Edward Quinn, 26, of Cromarty Avenue, Huddersfield, denies assault by beating.

Prosecutor Linda Fowler said the alleged offence happened on April 6 when the defendant forced his way in to a house in Milnsbridge and his ex partner was grabbed by her hair which caused her to fall to the floor.

Quinn was granted unconditional bail and will appear at court on a date yet to be determined.
