Here is the latest from the fire brigade on the crash earlier today on the M62 near junction 27:

The police have told me that no-one was hurt in the earlier crash near junction 27 involving a car and a lorry.

M62 East - all lanes open

Traffic: More M62 problems

Queueing traffic and one lane closed due to broken down vehicle on M62 Westbound between J19 A6046 (Heywood) and J18 M60 / M66 (Simister Island), congestion to J21 A640 (Milnrow).
Lane one (of three) is closed, affecting traffic heading from Huddersfield towards Manchester.

Update: M62 crash

The crash on the M62 eastbound near junction 27 happened at around 4.30pm today and involved a white Vauxhall Astra and a white lorry.

Traffic: M62 collision

Two lanes closed and queueing traffic on M62 Eastbound between J26 M606 / A58 (Chain Bar) and J27 M621 / A650 / A62 (Gildersome), congestion to J25 A644 (Brighouse).
Lanes two and three (of three) are closed. Affecting traffic heading away from Clifton towards Morley.
