TOP pop band McFly are heading to Kirklees.

Kirklees Council have just announced they have signed up the chart-topping boy band for this year’s Party in the Park - a free event, taking place on August 23 in Crow Nest Park, Dewsbury.

The concert is on the same day that McFly grace the main stage at the V Festival, and following their performance in Staffordshire they will be whisked up to Kirklees.

Organisers of the concert expect thousands of people will be ready to sing along to their big hits such as ‘All About You’ and ‘Lies’.
