A BUILDING group with operations in Elland is on track for sales totalling £100m by 2010.
Southdale Group, which comprises Halifax-based social housing business Southdale Homes and Elland-based private developer Circa, lifted sales by 21% to £47m in the 12 months to June 30. Gross profits weighed in at £7.48m compared with £5.74m for the previous year.
During the year, Southdale Group opened a new north-east regional office in Darlington to handle forthcoming projects in the area. The group also won a clutch of awards.
In a statement, the group said growth was largely due to rapid growth in profitability and turnover at Circa, which was formed in 2005. The company had made its mark on the housing market by opening sites in Huddersfield, Sheffield, Barnsley and Darlington.
Southdale had also continued partnering local authorities and housing associations on regeneration projects across the north.
