A GLOBETROTTING creativity expert is back home after clocking up more than 40,000 miles in 12 months.
Andy Green, an honorary research fellow at Huddersfield University, has travelled the world to share his expertise with business managers in Europe, the Middle East and Australia.
Mr Green has just returned from Dubai, where he has been lecturing on flexible thinking, creativity and communications skills to managers in the United Emirates.
Earlier, he completed a three-week tour across Australia. He has also visited Croatia to launch a Croatian language version of his book, Creativity in Public Relations – after lecturing in Norway and Ireland.
In previous years, Mr Green has shared his creativity insights in China, the USA, Egypt, and France.
Mr Green is regarded as an international expert on creativity. His book Creativity in Public Relations was the world’s first book on the subject.
It is now in its third edition and has also been translated into Russian, Indonesian, Chinese and Polish.
He has also written Effective Personal Communication Skills, also published by Kogan Page,.
Mr Green is also co-author of A Minute With Tony Blair, which was produced after a chance encounter with the former Prime Minister.
Mr Green is a leading figure at Wakefield Media Centre and is a partner in Wakefield-based GREEN Communications, providing public relations, design, internet, brochure management and events management for clients in the private and public sectors.
Mr Green’s honorary fellowship was awarded in recognition of the help he has given the university’s public relations degree courses in recent years and formalised his contribution to their academic development.
He has also spoken at workshops and networking events organised by Batley-based arts agency Loca for artists and firms in the creative sector.
GREEN Communications, formed more than 10 years ago, provides services in areas including public relations, media relations, graphis design, marketing, community relations, contract publishing and events management.
Clients include bakery giant Warburton, Alcan, Carlsberg-Tetley, Netto, Yorkshire Bank, Asda, Sketchley and Yorkshire Water.
