SHADOW Chancellor George Osborne will outline Conservative plans for government when he speaks at a business lunch in Huddersfield next week.
Mr Osborne will take questions at the lunch to be held on Thursday, at the Galpharm Stadium. Also at the event will be Angela Knight, chief executive of the British Banking Association, who will talk about the credit crunch.
The event is sponsored by HSBC, law firm Chadwick Lawrence and financial advice and asset management business Lazard.
A spokesman for the organisers said: “Mr Osborne will speak about what business can expect from a future Conservative government.”
