POSTMAN Pat owner Entertainment Rights has confirmed “very preliminary talks” with two interested suitors over a possible takeover.

The group, which also has the rights to children’s TV character Basil Brush, added that chief executive Michael Heap, is quitting after nine years in the post.

He will be replaced by Nick Phillips, former chairman and chief executive of Warner Music.
