Looking for new recruits

A BUSINESS networking group is seeking new members.

The Huddersfield Women in Rural Enterprise group is holding a social gathering for potential recruits.

It is being held from 7pm to 9pm on Thursday, June 5 at the offices of accountants Stead Robinson in Shepley.

The group is aimed at women who are considering setting up a business or those who have recently launched a business, as well as established entrepreneurs.

Meetings discuss issues affecting businesswomen, including motivation, marketing and business planning.

Huddersfield WiRE group press officer Georgina Oldfield said: “We are a friendly group of women who meet up on the first Friday afternoon of each month.

“Rather than just meeting for networking they enjoy building relationships of trust so that everyone feels comfortable not only seeking support, but providing support to other members.Š

“As well as networking, coffee and an informal chat each month they enjoy talks by members or invited guests.”

For further information contact network co-ordinator Sarah Gathercole on 0845 2415620.

Nationally, WiRE has more than 2,000 members helping women in rural areas start up or expand a business.Š
