Awards call to lawyers

LAWYERS in Huddersfield have been urged to enter a prestigious regional competition.

Individuals and firms are invited to compete in the Yorkshire Lawyer Awards, which recognise outstanding legal talent in a wide range of legal areas.

The eighth annual awards will be held at on September 25 at Rudding House, Harrogate. The closing date for nominations is June 30.

Categories include ones for specialist law firm, private client, corporate finance, real estate, dispute resolution and enterprise.

“The awards are extremely well-known in the legal community and are always hotly contested,” said Jeremy Shulman, chairman of the judges and joint president of the awards.

“We want to emphasise that the awards are open to all sizes and types of firm and to all legal professionals who meet the criteria, whatever their level or specialism. The awards are a true recognition and celebration of outstanding legal talent in Yorkshire.”
