Champagne marks agency success!

ESTATE agency Your Move Alexanders has celebrated its first year of trading in Huddersfield – by opening a second branch in Halifax.

The company held a champagne reception to mark its first anniversary and the opening of the new branch. It also announced the appointment of Simon Bentley as valuation director.

Said Mr Bentley: “A lot of the problems with the housing market are exaggerated. People will always buy and sell houses and if a property is correctly priced it will sell.

“We feel we are well-positioned in the marketplace to take advantage of any increased confidence and have several initiatives to keep ourselves ahead of the competition.”

Mr Bentley said Your Move Alexanders – which has its Huddersfield branch at Cross Church Street – was looking to expand further with several other branches planned in the Yorkshire area over the next few years.

Mr Bentley has many years’ experience in the industry and has worked for some of the leading agents.

He said: “I am delighted with the appointment. This is an exciting time in our expansion.”

Managing director Simon Rowell said: “This appointment is key to our future development plans.”
