Money move for Halifax

A NEW Halifax bank agency has opened in Moldgreen – contrasting with the recent trend of closures.

Independent financial advice business Monarch IFA is operating the new office at Old Wakefield Road.

A spokesman for the firm said the new office, which has five staff, aims to attract customers hit by the closure of Halifax offices in Almondbury and Skelmanthorpe.

Monarch IFA already operates 10 Halifax agency offices in Yorkshire, Manchester and Cheshire.
