Yorkshire Chemical Focus leads regional delegation

YORKSHIRE firms providing skincare products and cosmetics aim to clean up at a top trade show next week.

Huddersfield-based Yorkshire Chemical Focus is leading a delegation of manufacturers and suppliers from the region to the event, In-cosmetics, which takes place from April 21 to 23 in Munich, Germany.

Dr Jane Mockford, YCF chief executive, will lead the delegation through the organisation’s Personal Care Programme network, the first ever organised by YCF for this sector.Š

YCF, which supports and promotes the county’s £2.2bn chemical sector, is receiving funding through the Government’s UK Trade & Investment export support arm to help up to 10 delegates attend the event for the first time.

They will join regular exhibitors, including specialist dyes firm and Queen’s Award winner James Robinson Ltd, based at Leeds Road, Deighton.

First-time exhibitors include Brighouse-based soap and toiletries manufacturer John Drury & Co Ltd.

Director Edward Drury said: “This delegation provides the opportunity to go into Europe with our products.
