Institute of Directors show Christmas spirit still thriving

BOSSES are doing their best to preserve the Christmas spirit in the face of tough trading, it is claimed.

A survey by the Institute of Directors showed that 58% of directors planned to let staff leave early at Christmas while 50% were sending Christmas cards to business colleagues and clients.

And 32% of directors planned to make a charitable donation or undertake charitable activity for Christmas.
