PEOPLE in Huddersfield are being offered the chance to see their home or business on TV - and earn money at the same time.
Internet-based Yorkshire Locations wants to add properties to its database.
Film, TV and commercial production companies will use this when they need a location for filming or photo shoots.
Founder Nick Jones said: "The website will provide a library of filming and photography locations across Yorkshire.
"So whether you live in a mansion or an apartment, own a factory or a bookshop, we want to hear from you."
He said Yorkshire was now one of the most popular parts of the country for filming outside Greater London.
Local venues featured in dramas such as Where The Heart Is, Heartbeat and A Touch Of Frost, as well as Holmfirth's Last Of The Summer Wine comedy.
Diane Storer, director of Meltham business Disposables UK, has had her works used by Where The Heart Is since the drama started.
The factory features as the toilet roll maker in the series.
She said: "They only film on a Sunday, when the factory is closed. We are used to the process because we've been involved from the start.
"They are very good and put everything back as it was, even repainting office space when the colour had to be changed for one particular shoot."
Nick said
owners could earn hundreds of pounds a day, depending on the type of filming and time required.
Anybody interested in registering their property should visit www.yorkshirelocations.co.uk or call 0845 045 0608.
