A Huddersfield spa is in the spotlight – with nominations for two prestigious awards.
Birkby’s Alexandra House, led by Dr Maxine Stead has already been been shortlisted in the category for SME Business of the Year with 10 or more employees in the Forward Ladies’ Yorkshire Women in Business Awards.
The winners of 11 categories will be announced on September 29 at Newcastle’s The Crowne Plaza. National winners revealed at an awards luncheon on November 20 at the Queens Hotel in Leeds.
Alexandra House’s second awards nomination is in the 2015 BiYInspired awards with a nomination in the Rockstar Customer Service category. Recognising businesses that “make their customers feel like stars”, the award sees Alexandra House up against competition including TLC Accountants, of Wetherby, and Hydra Creative, of Sheffield. The winners will be announced at a special awards lunch on October 7 at the Queens Hotel.
