A MARKETING agency has been showing off its silky skills with one of the world’s leading “freestyle” footballers.

Billy Wingrove’s tricky moves are in demand to help promote major brands across the UK and Japan – in television adverts and at product launches, company promotions and exhibitions.

Billy visited the Birstall offices of Fantastic Media to take part in a video shoot to support the launch of a new international sports kit brand, created and managed by the marketing firm.

Fantastic Media operations director Richard Jones said: “Billy Wingrove is in demand all over the world for his phenomenal skills as he is one of the most famous names in freestyle football.

“His talent and dedication is a perfect match for our new client’s brand and we are sure his skills will capture the imagination of footballers everywhere.”

Billy spent the day filming video clips for a new website and at a supporting photoshoot.

He modelled a variety of kits and training gear which will feature in a major marketing campaign to be launched in April.

Huddersfield man Andy Hobson, managing director of Fantastic Media, said: “As an agency we specialise in taking new brands to market and to be able to work with someone such as Billy, whose skills and profile are known around the world, is a real benefit to creating the right buzz any new brand needs.”

Fantastic Media’s clients range from Holmfirth theatre and training company CragRats and Netherton-based haulier Pink Link to national shopfitter Replan and engineering giant BAE Systems.

Last November, Billy enthralled audiences in Huddersfield at St Patrick’s Primary School in Birkby, the Kingsgate shopping centre and at half-time in the Town v Port Vale match at the Galpharm Stadium.
