HIGH rollers from Yorkshire’s business community will converge on Huddersfield tonight for a networking event with a difference.
Casino Red at Northumberland Street is the venue for the Yorkshire Mafia drinks evening, which gets under way at 6pm.
The members-only event will see like-minded professionals come together to share best practice and meet potential suppliers and clients.
A £5 door donation will go to local charity the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice and members will be treated to canapés and a glass of bubbly on arrival.
Yorkshire Mafia founder Geoff Shepherd (pictured) said: “Professionals in Yorkshire love to attend our drinks evenings as they know they can meet genuine contacts without having people try to sell to them constantly.
“People come away with a renewed sense of faith in Yorkshire business and a buzz about the new contacts they have made.”
Launched in 2008, the Yorkshire Mafia has grown from an online networking group to a powerful collaboration of like-minded businesses in the region. With more than 8,000 members, the group consists of a range of leading professionals from a variety of industries.
