TWO properties in Huddersfield with a combined asking price of £1.2m have been sold.

Claremont Hall, a stone-built Grade II listed building at Belmont Street, Highfields, has been bought by a local developer. The property has been converted into 10 one and two-bedroom apartments, which are awaiting completion.

The sale also included The Coach House, a tenanted stone-built office block opposite Claremont Hall. The Coach House offers more than 3,500sq ft and is let on a seven-year lease from October, 2010 to Air Parade Ltd.

Jonathan O’Connor, of Eddisons, which handled the sale, said: “These are high quality properties which are reflected in the excellent prices we have achieved for our client.”
