A FURNITURE maker based in Bradford has moved to larger premises in Drighlington.
Chartered surveyors Eddisons concluded the deal for DFK on almost 35,000sq ft space at Fairfax House on Hodgson Lane off an asking rent of £120,000 a year.
The new site will contain a manufacturing facility, showroom, trade counter, dispatch facilities and all administration functions.
Five new jobs have also been created in readiness for when the new site is fully operational later this month.
DFK is committing about £500,000 on the move, which includes a significant investment in new state of the art machinery.
The investment includes a computer-controlled manufacturing cell which is the first of its kind in the country.
DFK was launched in 1992 and employs 28 full-time staff.
