SEATING company Connection has appointed Alan Gazzard as sales director.
Mr Gazzard joins the Fenay Bridge-based company with a wealth of experience from his time at Knoll, Herman Miller and latterly at Senator. At Connection, he will take responsibility for UK sales and manage the company’s sales team.
The appointment will enable managing director Kelvin Bromley to focus on export sales following a successful showing at industry exhibition Orgatec. As part of its strategy for 2011, the company has launched a new brochure, which includes translations in French and German.
Other developments include a move to larger premises for the firm’s London showroom and additional warehousing at Huddersfield, which will enable Connection to continue its product development programme.
