A fire fighting equipment supplier is blazing a trail.

Brockholes-based North Fire has posted a 36% increase in turnover during the past 12 months – up to 3.1m from £2.25m.

Managing director Oliver North said: “We’re still a relatively young company – just six years old – and to be consistently building and growing on previous years means that we have solid foundations and the future is looking bright.

“Current forecasts suggest that turnover will double in the coming 12 months, making it a very exciting time for the whole team.”

In addition North Fire has recently been shortlisted for the Huddersfield Examiner SME of the Year Award with Oliver also shortlisted for the Young Business Person of the Year Award.

North Fire Ltd was set up in 2008 to promoting and support aerial appliances and fire fighting equipment manufactured and supplied by Rosenbauer International AG, among municipal, industrial and airport fire and rescue services.

Teaming up world-class design, innovation and supply from one of the world’s largest suppliers to fire services with North Fire’s distribution and after-sales support has proved a formula for success.
