A HUMAN resources consultancy in Huddersfield is the height of fashion for its latest client.

Shepley-based JCS HR, headed by director Julie Sykes, has been appointed by salon couture group House of W to provide all its HR requirements on a retained basis.

The company will take advantage of JCS’ new small business package, which has been specifically designed for organisations with up to 50 employees and which are uncertain how much support they will need month-to-month.

Said Julie: “2010 saw an increasing number of organisations coming to us looking for regular HR support to assist them in moving their business forward or to deal with difficult issues.

“A significant number of these organisations employed fewer than 50 staff and therefore did not need – and could not justify – full-time in-house HR staff.

“In response to this demand we created the small business package which is extremely flexible and cost-effective for companies such as House of W as they retain complete control over how – and how much – they use the service.”

House of W will be using the service to provide training, review processes and procedures as well as produce a new employee contract and handbook.
