A marketing consultancy celebrated its first year in business with a hat-trick of client wins.

The latest appointments for Lindley-based KC Communications include Huddersfield-based visual and seasonal display company The WonderWorks, which has selected the agency to manage its full PR remit.

Huddersfield Partnership has also sought media marketing services in the lead up to the 15th Huddersfield Food and Drink Festival in August, while Leeds-based Temple Moor High School has appointed the business to manage a design refresh across all its literature.

KC Communications, based at Heritage Exchange, was launched by managing director Katrina Cliffe and now employs two additional members of staff to provide marketing consultancy and management services to SMEs and educational establishments.

In the last 12 months, Katrina has been nominated for a Women of Achievement in Business Award while the firm has been recognised for its commitment to apprenticeships.

In addition marketing assistant Johanna Green has received the Ambassador of the Year Award from Kirklees Apprenticeship Hub.

To mark its first anniversary, KC Communications hosted an event at The Grosvenor Casino in Huddersfield to raise £500 towards its £10,000 target for baby charity Tommy’s.
