A water treatment specialist is set to grow its business after a weekend of mentoring by one of the UK’s top entreprenuers.

Gary Russell, managing director of Aquatrust in Liversedge, joined Michelle Mone – founder of award-winning lingerie company Ultimo – and her mentoring team at the businesswoman’s luxurious London apartment.

And he said the advice he received “has given me the drive, inspiration, tips and strategies needed to initiate our expansion plans and ensure we achieve them successfully”.

Mr Russell said: “We are working on a lot of projects behind the scenes particularly with marketing, Investors in People and business mentoring and hope to open our second office in the North West in the next three months.”

Aquatrust began delivering water treatment and hygiene services in 2003 and the firm has developed into a leader in its field.

Success in the Yorkshire region has led to the addition of further sites in other parts of the UK as part of a plan to offer national coverage for water treatment, water hygiene, air hygiene and training services.

Director Neil Sheard said: “Our vision is to offer nationwide coverage of our services and to manage this logistically we will require regionalised offices.

“We will seek motivated, driven, technically competent individuals to deliver our services which will leave our clients free to focus on their own work, knowing they are complying with all legislation, guidance and standards that are out there.”
