CHOOSING technology can be fraught with problems – which is where P2 Technologies comes in to help.

The Lockwood-based business was set up by Roger Pearson and Martin Page, who have a combined 25 years experience in the technology sector – working across England and Wales to provide support for law practices using software systems tailored to the legal profession.

They began planning the new company last November and began trading in May. Since then, they have expanded by acquiring a Leeds-based IT managed services company.

Mr Pearson, who lives at Denby Dale, and Brighouse man Mr Page said P2 Technologies was focusing on providing a full service for business customers – mainly small to medium-sized businesses needing systems for up to 500 users.

Services include helping firms select and install systems, 24-hour monitoring of systems with guaranteed response times, network security, a choice of support options and internet telephone connections.

Said Mr Pearson: “Some firms do not take an interest in technology despite that fact that it is so important. We want to help them find the technology that suits what they want to do with the business. The bottom line is that computer systems can help save money or generate new business.”

P2 Technologies can draw on decades of experience in IT. All its key staff are career professionals backed up by the training and accreditation they need to help get systems working – and keep them working well. The firm also has key partnerships with leading vendors such as Microsoft, HP and Dell and is dedicated to maintaining vendor accreditations – enabling the P2 Technologies to keep up to date with the latest products and services.
