A TRANSPORT company in Huddersfield is extending its reach into Europe.
The Pink Link, based at Netherton, has expanded its services by taking deliveries of goods on pallets across the continent.
A new daily service is now offering customers the chance to connect with suppliers on mainland Europe as easily as if they were in the UK.
It includes fully bar-coded track and trace technology and fixed prices based on full, half or quarter pallets.
The service operates via the Palletways UK distribution network linking a hub depot in Lichfield with depots in France, Holland, Denmark, Germany, Belgium and Luxemburg. Spain and Italy will be added at the end of 2007.
Palletways is Europe's largest delivery network for small consignments of palletised goods.
It allows The Pink Link to offer customers premium and economy distribution services for one to six pallet consignments across the UK - as well as this now daily services to mainland Europe.
Sales and commercial director Vicki Davenport said: "This year is the 10th anniversary of the company’s membership of Palletways (UK) Limited.
“With the addition of our European service, we offer our customers a fast and easy 'one stop shop' to connect with Europe.''
