He’s jetting off to Las Vegas.

But Antony Robinson, founder of Holmfirth-based digital marketing company Pure Optimisation, won’t be playing the slots or gambling all on the tables.

Instead, he will be joining the likes of Microsoft chief executive officer Satya Nadella, Google’s Matt Cutts and Rand Fishkin, founder of software-as-a-service company Moz at Pubcon, the world’s leading social media and optimisation conference.

It’s the second year running that Antony has been invited to speak at the event, which takes place in the gambling capital of the USA from October 5 to 8.

Pubcon – named one of Forbes magazine’s “must-attend conferences” – is one of the biggest and boldest international gatherings of internet search and social media innovators ever assembled.

Antony, a multi-award winning digital marketing strategist, will be speaking to attendees from more than 130 countries about the exceptional gains businesses can achieve by integrating multiple digital channels within their online marketing strategy.

He will also form part of the expert panel during “Ask the Experts” sessions, which will be held throughout the four-day conference.

Antony was first asked to speak at Pubcon in 2014 while he was head of search and Social Media at Auto Trader during its momentous transition from an entirely print-based magazine to a digital-only proposition.

He was also instrumental in Auto Trader’s move to handle the website design, build, SEO and data management for its 5,000-strong dealer network, including manufacturers such as Jaguar Land Rover.

Pure Optimisation was set-up in November, 2014, by Antony to help clients from all sectors invest intelligently in digital marketing and to get meaningful results.
