TIME is running out for schools to get their hands on some cash as the registration period in the Examiner’s Schools – Collect for Cash challenge comes to a close.
This Friday (September 11) at 5pm is the final date and time when schools can say they want to take part and have the chance of winning a slice of a massive £10,000.
More than 50 schools have already got their name down and will be planning to collect the tokens which will appear in the Examiner from Monday (September 14).
And the school which collects the most tokens in relation to the number of pupils on their roll will have the chance to win cash to spend on whatever they want.
Barclays Bank has again put up the £10,000 prize fund, which will be divided five ways with £3,000 for the first prize winner, £2,500 for second, £2,000 for third, £1,500 for fourth and a bumper fifth prize of £1,000.
As well as collecting tokens which appear in the paper there will also be a chance to collect online with special bonus tokens.
