Deadline looms for Schools Collect For Cash

So make sure your school is registered and enlist the help of family, friends and communities as a whole to support and collect for your school.

Remember one of the smallest schools in Kirklees – Wellhouse Junior and Infant School near Golcar was a first prize winner in last year’s competition, thanks to the whole community getting behind the school’s bid to win some cash.

Also remember the school you are collecting for has actually registered or you could be wasting your efforts. Last year there were 1,000 wasted tokens after people collected for schools which were not taking part.

Stuart Ambler, branch manager at Barclays Huddersfield, which is supporting the promotion again this year said: "We believe that the skills and expertise of our employees, as well as our money can make a huge difference to the communities we live and work in."
