KEEP on collecting is the message from organisers of the popular Schools – Collect for Cash campaign.

As we enter our fourth week, schools across Kirklees have taken up the challenge to collect as many tokens as they can and win a share of £10,000 which has again been donated by Barclays.

And your school could also benefit by collecting bonus online tokens with another being available online today (Friday October 2) from 9am to 9pm, just log onto the examiner website at www.examiner.co.uk and follow the links.

Last week 1,218 bonus tokens were collected online and there’s more on offer. Bonus online tokens will also be available on Monday, October 5 and Tuesday, October 13.

Tokens will be published in the Examiner every day over the next few weeks with the final token being published on October 17. The last date for submitting tokens is 5pm on Monday October 26.

Barclays sponsored the popular challenge last year.

In 2008, Barclays invested £52.2m in community projects around the world and supported more than 57,000 colleagues in 31 countries to get involved with community activities.

It has recently received a Charity Times award for its money skills work with charity partner, Action For Children which helps vulnerable children and families.
