Charity show in memory of Sudders

John said: “It is crucial that we fill the 2,500 seats to help raise the money for this worthwhile cause.

“We do hope that people will support this fundraiser as well as the millions of individuals who are affected by leukaemia.”

John’s company, Eyebrow Productions, has had to raise £30,000 to put on the show – £22,000 alone is needed to pay for the venue, which is London’s biggest theatre.

He set up the company with a group of friends after leaving Bristol University in 2001.

John, whose acting credits include Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks and stage work, hires a different theatre each year to stage a charity show with Eyebrow Productions.

Last year, the company took over the Drury Lane Theatre to perform Sweet Charity and in 2006 it performed at the Oxford Playhouse in aid of the Oxford Children’s Hospice.

Each time its members set themselves the tough challenge of rehearsing and choreographing the show and sorting out the costumes in just 48 hours.
