ON page 4 of yesterday’s (TUESDAY’S) Examiner we carried a piece about Kirklees Council’s plan to fund repairs to Providence Methodist Church in Golcar.

We stated the council had been asked to contribute nearly £14,000 to the work. 

In fact, the church has asked Kirklees to donate £5,000 to the revamp, with the remaining £8,681 to come from other sources.
