General Election 2010: Ann Widdecombe visits Lindley

SHOPPERS met a top Tory in Huddersfield when Ann Widdecombe visited Lindley this week to support Colne Valley Conservative candidate Jason McCartney.
The former Home Office minister spoke to shoppers on Lidget Street and Armitage’s Garden Centre in Birchencliffe on Wednesday. Lindley and Birchencliffe are part of the Colne Valley constituency, a crucial marginal seat which the Conservatives must win on May 6 if they are to form the next government.
