Official briefings on disc parking

HOLMFIRTH residents are being invited to briefings to explain the upcoming disc parking trial scheme in the town.

The meetings are being held at the Holy Trinity Church on Towngate and attendance is by invitation only for residents living in the proposed disc zones.

The first meetings this week were for residents in the Huddersfield Road/Station Road/Cooper Lane and the Woodhead Road/Greenfield Road areas. Meetings for residents living along Dunford Road are scheduled for next Tuesday and Wednesday (January 29 and 31). There will be a further meeting next Saturday (February 2) the venue for which will be announced later.
